The Project: We’re embarking on an exciting journey to develop a cutting-edge platform for pre-employment background screening. This platform aims to revolutionize the industry, providing seamless and efficient solutions for our clients.
Your Role: As an R&D Developer, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation, collaborating closely with automation engineers to tackle edge-cases. Your primary responsibilities will include finding suitable proxies, bypassing bot detection, and devising solutions for various types of captchas. You’ll report directly to the team lead, working in tandem with the core team lead and VP of production.
Immediate Responsibilities:
- Identifying suitable proxies for targeted sites
- Developing strategies to bypass bot detection mechanisms
- Implementing solutions for different types of captchas
Critical Requirements:
- Profound understanding of the HTTP protocol, including headers, cookies, fingerprinting, and user agents
- Familiarity with proxies and their functionalities
- Basic programming skills with the ability to process large volumes of information effectively
- Fundamental knowledge of HTML/JS, including selectors, events, functions, and callbacks
Nice-to-Have’s:
- Experience in automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, and Puppeteer
- Understanding of the web scraping process and its intricacies
