Lithuanian TeleSoftas to operate under the Helmes name

Telesoftas is now Helmes

Lithuanian technology company TeleSoftas has merged with Helmes, strengthening our digital innovation network in the Baltics, and continues operating under Helmes name as of September 2025.

This marks a logical continuation of the merger that began in 2022, which aims to create one of the strongest networks of digital innovation in the Baltics and Central Europe. Transitioning to the Helmes brand means a broader range of services, facilitates easier access to the group’s expertise, and closer collaboration between units in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland.

Helmes founder and CEO Jaan Pillesaar said the Helmes name embodies the combined strengths of digital expertise from many countries. The company unites the largest AI and data team in the Baltics under its organizational umbrella, offering sustainable software development, cybersecurity solutions, service design, and business consulting.

“For nearly two decades, TeleSoftas has contributed to software and product development for European companies, strengthening Helmes’ position in Lithuania’s technology landscape with a skilled competence center and a human-centered management culture,“ Pillesaar said. “The company emphasizes practical results, focusing on how technology helps companies grow and save costs.”

Šarūnas Putrius, CEO of UAB Helmes (formerly TeleSoftas), said that this is not merely a name change but a genuine merger of strengths.

“Helmes has more than 30 years of experience in digitalization and innovation,” he said. “Officially opting for the Helmes brand allows us to deliver solutions on a larger scale and create more value for our clients than ever before. We combine the agility of a startup with the strength of a large organization. This ensures stability, reliable teams, and outcomes that support our clients’ business goals. As Helmes, we can offer our clients one of the largest unified portfolios of digital services and the most extensive expertise in digital innovation in the region.”
